Fond, Kind Lady

I have only worked for the past 8 years, however anytime Darlene would call Joplin's MSSD school, she always asked how I was doing no matter that she called to speak to the Building Administrator.  There were times she would spend several minutes just to speak to me.  Darlene was brilliant but more importantly, always kind and caring.  Our daughter lives in Knoxville, and even though Darlene never knew her, she asked about her from time to time.  I know how much she loved her Knoxville family as she spoke with happiness in her voice.  I am truly sad I won't get to speak to her in this life, but rejoice knowing I will see her in Glory.  Thank you Darlene for your kind heart. You will be missed very much.  MSSD will not be the same, ever.
