Darlene was my direct supervisor since 2015 and I cannot even say how much I appreciated her direction, guidance, support and kindness and belief in what we were doing at our school. She never waivered in her support of us. She was a boss, but also a friend in many ways. She did not let me down when I needed her, and I know we are going to be floundering without her steadiness. I am very glad I had a few short years with her as she taught me a great deal. I am glad we will see each other again in a better place!
