Even though Steve and I were not close as adults my childhood memories are always yelling , reprimanding and smacking him. LOL! As the older sister in charge of 2 heathens, my teenage parenting skills were lacking. Once, I was picking Steve and Jeri up in town and they were not where they were supposed to be. When I finally found them 2 blocks away from destination pick up place I yelled, screamed and for the 8 mile ride home lectured them. I would turn around and try to smack them but they just laughed and dodged all attempts of being hit. I just kept trying to tell them of the hatchet murderer that was supposedly in Ridgecrest. Steve asked why I was so worried and my reply was because they were my brother and sister and I loved them. And in typical Steve humor .....he laughed. So now baby brother I will say it again, I love you and you will always be with us.
