My heart is heavy knowing that Karen has passed. I first met her when working at Freeman Hospital. She kept things running smoothly and efficiently in the nursing office for sure! As years went on, we saw each other occasionally and exchanged family updates. I remember how very proud she was of both Matt and Megan. Her face just lit up when talking about them. Prayers for you both (and your families) during this time of loss. God Bless.
I met Karen at a ballroom dance. Later, we were in a ballroom class together. Always wanted to go floating with her. She had things that I needed to learn.
loved your beautiful smile ...and beautiful hair.... proud to have known you and shared many ball games watching Matt and my Kyle play ball in school...Blessed..
Karen you are a firecracker, how fitting to be born on the 4th of July, A Shiny, Sparkly Firework celebrating Independence. That's why I called you Sparky ! You were always strong, fierce, FUN, fearless, kind and caring. You accomplished SO many wonderful things. Your great LOVE was your children, you were always SO proud of them, and for good reason, they are awesome. You always loved Quotes, remember that little house on Harlem, you had everyone write quotes on the sun porch wall so here are 2 for you. "She never seemed shattered to me ,she was a breathtaking mosaic of the battles she won" and lastly " Good byes are not the end, it simply means we will miss you until we meet again.
