My wife and I had just got Genes brother house when Georgie called and wanted to know if I wanted to go fishing with them? Seem that she had made some new carp bait and Georgie and Gene were going to Springfield Lake fishing. I decided to go with them to see how it was done. Will on the way to the lake George aks me if I had a fishing liesence which being in the service I did not have one. Gene said that knowone would be down there to check for it Georgie told him he was wrong and we had better stop and get me one. Will Georgie was right we had not been on the bank of the Springfield Lake hour an out step the Game Warden checking to see we were legal. Thank to Georgie I did not get a ticket sure glad we stopped
