Bill Tichenor will always hold a special place in my heart. He hired me to cashier part time at Bill's Shoe Box in the mall just before my 16th birthday and taught me so much over the next six years. He was a kind and generous man with keen business sense; he treated employees like family [even those of us who were not related--ha] Those we hold most dear never truly leave us, they live in the kindness they showed others.
