Obituary for William O Tichenor
Funeral services for William O. Tichenor age 85 of Branson, Missouri will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 21, 2017 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson with burial with full military honors to follow at 1:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
He passed away on July 15, 2017 at Shepherd of The Hills Living Center in Branson.
He was born on December 23, 1931 in Glendale, California the son of William & Irma Ogden Tichenor. He was a retired shoe salesman and was an U.S. Air Force Veteran. He and his wife had been residents of Branson for the past twelve years and was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri.
Mr. Tichenor is survived by his wife, Linda Fleshman Tichenor of the home in Branson, Missouri. Four children; Robin Tichenor (Rhonda) of Houston, Texas, Dana Tichenor of Orange, California, Marcie Tichenor of Aurora, Colorado, and Julie Pousma (Dan) of Parker, Colorado. Three step-children, Dalinda Densmore (Mark) of Branson, Missouri, Deborah Moore of Gallatin, Tennessee and Donna Parker (Gene) of Hollister, Missouri. 13 Grandchilren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Roger Tichener and a son Chris Tichenor.
Visitation will be before service time on Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM.
