Obituary for Nancy Jane Kellett (Hesseltine)

Nancy Jane Kellett (Hesseltine)
Nancy Jane Kellett, 71, of Hickory, MS, moved into her mansion just over the hilltop July 11, 2018. She was born September 16, 1946 in Washington, IA. She grew up singing old gospel songs, and they stuck with her throughout her life.

Before Mississippi, Nancy was a longtime resident of Branson, MO. She was a beautician by trade, a seamstress and crafter by natural talent, and a grandmother by heart. She loved to cook, sing and dance. And she especially loved shopping for others. She was always giving her last dime away to meet the need of someone else. She had amazing love!

She is survived by her six children: Tom Gamerl (Lorena) of Branson, MO; Tina Scott of Dyersburg, TN; Tonette Kellett of Hickory, MS; Tammy Kay Stilley of Branson, MO; Tony Kellett Jr. (Sonia) of House Springs, MO; and Tim Kellett (Norbie) of Dyersburg, TN. She has one brother, Ed Hesseltine (Joan) of Tullahoma, TN, and two sisters, Thelma Glendenning (Herb) of Simpsonville, KY and Linda Hesseltine of Omaha, NE. She was also Grandma to 13, Great-Grandma, and Aunt Nancy to many others.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Hesseltine and Lucile Osborne Hesseltine Rice; also by two brothers, Russell Hesseltine and Ron Hesseltine, and one sister Sarah Nightengale.

Visitation will be held in Branson, MO at Greenlawn Funeral Home Saturday, July 14, from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. The Funeral will begin at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Cedar Valley Cemetery immediately following the service.

She will remain forever in our hearts.
