Gerry L. Brown
July 23, 1929 – June 3, 2018
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Barren Creek Cemetery, Fair Play, under the direction of Pitts Chapel, Bolivar.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 11, at Pitts Chapel in Bolivar.
Geraldine L. Brown, 88, of Bolivar died Sunday, June 3, 2018, at her home.
The daughter of Paul and Violet Morris, Gerry was born July 23, 1929 in Oakland, Iowa. She was united in marriage to William H. Brown on March 13, 1964. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 138.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryle Rash of Hermitage; two sons, Vincent Rocha and Daniel Rocha, both of Bolivar; and 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Gerry was preceded in death by her husband, William Hayden Brown, and her grandson, Michael Blankenship.
Visitation for Gerry Brown will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 11, at Pitts Chapel in Bolivar.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Barren Creek Cemetery in Fair Play.
