Obituary for Ruth Ann George (Hawkins)
Ruth Ann George, 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the Strafford Care Center. She was born December 4, 1931 to Charles and Minnie Hawkins in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Ruth worked for 20+ years at the Assemblies of God National Headquarters, here in Springfield.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 26, 2018, 10:00-11:00am, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral service will begin at 11:00am,. Ruth will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, next to her husband, following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
