Obituary for Pauline

Pauline Tiller 96, Leawood, Kansas, formerly of Springfield, MO. passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Brookdale Retirement Community, Leawood Kansas. She was born on December 13, 1921, in Springfield, MO. to William P. and Mary C. (McGoldrick) Sifford. Pauline was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, since 1956. She was a homemaker and a volunteer for Cox Hospital's South and North, volunteering for many years, estimated at over 20,000 hours. Besides service to the community, she was devoted and supportive of her family by encouraging and attending ballet lessons, football and baseball games as well as many other events. One year, as a third base coach for her son's little league baseball team she, designed and made her own uniform for it. She also encouraged and helped with academics. She always maintained her good sense of humor and outlook through the end of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy F. Tiller, a W.W. II veteran, during his time in the war, Pauline worked in a parachute factory in Springfield.
Pauline is survived by her son Mike Tiller and his wife Judy, her daughter Paulette McKee and her husband, Mike; four grandsons, David and Matt Tiller and Jeff and Greg McKee; five great-grandchildren, Griffin & Gillian McKee, Sofia, Alex, and Max Tiller; her sister, Mary Lou Buchanan, and her brother, Jack Sifford.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
