Obituary for Jerry Lee Johnson

Jerry Lee  Johnson
Jerry Lee Johnson, 83 went home to be with the Lord on April 10, 2018. Jerry was born December 10, 1934 in Kirbyville, Missouri to Clell and Thelma Johnson.

He leaves his wife of 62 years, Janice McFarland Johnson of the home, his daughter, Gail Hamline (Paul) of Little Rock, Arkansas, daughter Connie Smith (Terry) of Independence, Missouri and son, Jeff Johnson (Shannon) of Marshfield, Missouri. He was the proud grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 10. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ronald Johnson, sister, Sara Yarnell, and granddaughter Dayna Bradley.

Jerry was a hard worker who provided for his family by driving a milk truck for many years. In later years he loved his job driving a delivery truck for Lloyd’s Electric.

Jerry was a wonderful example of a Godly man who led his family in the ways of the Lord. He was a leader to many by his years of work in the church and his Christian example. Jerry was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hollister, Missouri.

Visitation will be held on April 14, at 9:00 AM at Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson, Missouri. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 10:00 AM with his son-in-law, Reverend Paul Hamline of The Bible Church of Little Rock. A private burial will be held at a later date.
