Obituary for Barbara C. Hoyt (Markey)
A Memorial Service for Barbara C. Hoyt, age 82 of Branson, MO. will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 9, 2018 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson. Inurnment will follow at 1:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home Branson.
She died on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at her home in Branson.
She was born on March 14, 1936 in Manchester, VT., the daughter of George L. Markey and Charlotte Ducharme Markey. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of the area for the past 35 years.
She is survived by her children: Glenn Weston of Branson, MO., Andrea Haynes of Branson, MO., Eric Hoyt of Branson, MO., four siblings: Janice Ameden of Bennington, VT., Andrea Gori of San Francisco, CA., Joanne Weber of Vergennes, VT., Mark Markey of Brattleboro, VT., eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Donald Weston, her second husband, Joseph Hoyt, two sisters: Carolyn Bry and Rainey Higuera and daughter-in-law, Brandi Hoyt.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of service Monday, April 9, 2018.
