Obituary for Jessie Elizabeth Young
Jessie Elizabeth Young, 88, Springfield, Missouri departed this life February 4, 2018 in Springfield.
She was born August 7, 1929 at Hartville, Missouri to Everett and Mae (Goins) Wood.
In 1960, Jessie became a member of South Haven Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing and cross stitching.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband E.C. Young and one daughter Alicia Kay (Young) LeCureaux.
Immediate survivors include her sister Jeanette Branstetter of Ava, Missouri, one son Bruce Young and his wife Alane of Springfield, Missouri, six grandchildren, Gregory Young, Los Angeles, California, Shannon Young of Springfield, Missouri, and Wesley Young of Ithaca, New York, Robert LeCureaux of Canada, Collin LeCureaux and Christian LeCureaux of Detroit, Michigan and six great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 9, 2018 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with Pastor Dan Swadley officiating.
