Obituary for James Edward Rash

James Edward  Rash
James Edward (Jim) Rash of Goodson, MO, passed away at Mercy Hospital on January 9, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, James William Rash and Elzada Marie Skinner, and one brother, John William (Jack) Rash.
Jim fought a great fight till the end. He was born on January 29, 1943 in Cross Timbers, Missouri. James was united in marriage to Betty Lou Tilton on December 3, 1960. Their over 25 year union produced one son, James Dale (J.D.) Rash.
A second wedding was in 1991 to Kathleen Hobbert. They were blessed with 18 years together till her death in January 2010.
James was an over-the-road truck driver over 35 years, till disability forced his early retirement.
Besides his son, J.D. Rash and spouse Cheryle, their two daughters and one grandchild, he leaves behind two siblings. Robert Rash and spouse, Donna Sue, Margie Pearl Keith and husband Lloyd are left behind to miss him. Many nieces and nephews will grieve their loss.
Thanks to his special care–givers and friends and neighbors. The people at the Bolivar Dialysis Center really contributed joy to his 3 years there. Thank you all.
Funeral Service for James E. Rash will be at 2:00 PM on January 13, 2018 at Pitts Chapel in Bolivar, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, January 12 at Pitts Chapel. Family and friends may leave condolences at www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
