Curtis M. Kolesar, L CPL, USMC
Curtis Michael Kolesar, 67, Springfield, Missouri departed this life January 9, 2018 at his home.
He was born November 11, 1950 to Joseph Jr. and Nancy R. (Christian) Kolesar.
He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a Lance Corporal from February 20, 1969 in Vietnam until he became permanently disabled after his service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters; Veronica Casey, Mercedes Johnson and Zora Mietus.
He is survived by his two sons; Joey Kolesar and Brandon Kolesar, one sister; Sherry Wilder and one brother; Wayne Kolesar, six nieces and four nephews also survive and his compassionate friend, Kay Riggs.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans in honor of his service in Vietnam.
