Obituary for Rosemary O'Dowd
Rosemary O’Dowd, 82 of Springfield passed away peacefully in her home January 6, 2018 after a battle with cancer. She was born on July 11th 1935 in Aurora, MO to Osa and Reitha Nash. She is preceded in death by her husband Pete O’Dowd as well as sisters Marie, Eula Mae, Betty, Barbara, and Carol; brothers Paul, Harold and Darrell. Survivors include her brother Tommy and sister Mary,
nieces & nephews Randy & Patty Scott, Mike & Kathy Scott, Brenda Russell and Pete Purvis; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and her best friend Kathy Davidson.
Rosemary owned and operated the Wig Chalet in Springfield for many years and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was dearly loved by her friends and family and will be truly missed by all.
Visitation will be January 8th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Greenlawn North funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday January 9th, 10:00 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church
