She passed away on January 3, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri.

Vivian was born on August 19, 1932 in Batesville, Arkansas the daughter of Grant and Alice Baker Moore. She had been a resident of the Blue Eye Community for many years where she and her husband pastored the Bowman Pentecostal Church. She had been a pastor’s wife for over 57 years. Vivian’s life was highlighted by her three greatest loves—God—family and friends. She was a child of God and walked with him her entire life. Honoring God with a life’s work as a Pastor’s wife gave her many opportunities to serve him more. She was happily married to the man of her dreams and blessed with children she loved. Her personality reflected love and happiness. Other joys of her life were music, both singing and playing the guitar and accordion. Also cooking, sewing, and gardening were God given talents. Her garden had so many beautiful flowers that she loved. Some of the children gave them a trip to Hawaii for their fortieth anniversary. They also truly loved touring the Holy Land; a trip presented to them by Christian friends. Now she is ready to tour Heaven with her husband, mother, and friends.

Survivors are her four children: Raymond Lee (Junior) Lasseter and wife Joan of Oak Grove, Arkansas, Brenda Jean Lasseter of Springfield, Missouri, Gwenda Marie Plummer and husband David of St. Louis, Missouri and Timothy Eugene Lasseter and wife Terri of Blue Eye, Missouri. Two brothers: L. D. Moore of Batesville, Arkansas and W. T. Moore of Kansas City, Missouri and one sister, Maxine Bell of Marshfield, Missouri. Nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rev. Raymond Lasseter, two brothers; J. C. Moore, R. V. Moore and one sister, Lea Neal.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
