Condolence: Not a year goes by that I don't think about you. I should have known you were gone when you didn't return my calls. My heart breaks thinking that we didn't get to say goodbye. I just hope that you were not alone as you transitioned. I know that you were a God fearing man. I remember how happy you were about your mother meeting a good church man. I wish we could have spent your last days together. We shared so many good times together. Times I will treasure until my time on earth is done. I can hear your voice in my head saying "I'm John Owen" I still cherish my little dog Sydney that you gave me for Christmas when he was a puppy and he is just as classy as you. We should have been married but you worked so much....I have visited this site so many times since learning of your death but today I wanted to talk to you like we always did but at least you're getting that much needed rest. I don't want to end this tribute because it hurts so much... I was blessed to share this life with you ❤
