Obituary for Morley Arnold Knudsen

Morley Arnold  Knudsen
Morley Arnold Knudsen passed from mortality December 21, 2017 at his home in Branson, Missouri. He was born February 18, 1936 in Bluewater, New Mexico to Morley and Lottie Knudsen.

Arnold grew up in Farmington, New Mexico and was the second oldest and oldest brother of eight siblings. He learned to play piano at the age of 7, and enjoyed playing piano throughout his life. He was a gifted musician and instilled in his children a love for music. He played the piano beautifully for his family and at church.

He was a faithful member of the LDS Church throughout his life, served a full-time Mission to Virginia & North Carolina from 1956-1958 and held several church callings including Elders Quorum President, Ward Choir Director and Ward Clerk.

He served in the U.S. Army Reserve SP4, 1959-1965.

Arnold married his eternal companion, Joyce Maybelle Brown in the Mesa, Arizona Temple on September 22, 1960 and together they raised 10 sons.

Arnold is survived by his sons, Barry (Suzanne), Kevin (Shannon), Lynn (Leticia), Jak (Cheryl), Owen (Joanna), Curtis (Nichole), Charles, Brent (Emily), Don (Jenny), and James, 31 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Knudsen; brother, David Knudsen; father, Morley Knudsen and mother, Lottie Knudsen.

Memorial services will be held at the LDS Church in Branson West, Missouri on January 20th, 2018 directed by Greenlawn Funeral Home and on January 27th, 2018 in Orem, Utah directed by Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home.
