Pamela Jane (Jones) Kail, 66, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother (Nana), passed away suddenly and went to her Heavenly Father on November 26, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri.
Pam was born on December 12, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan to Buford (Kern) Jones, Jr. and Nancy Jane (Holderby) Jones. She was an only child. The family returned to Aurora, Missouri in 1951 where Pam enjoyed many happy years with her parents and beloved grandparents, Buford Kern and Mae Elsie Jones. In 1969, she met the love of her life, David Theo Kail, while attending Harding College in Searcy, Arkansas. After their marriage in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 27, 1969, the couple resided in Memphis, Tennessee. Afterward they moved to Aurora, Missouri and then to Springfield, Missouri where she and David raised their two devoted children.
Pam earned her nursing degree in 1979 and worked as an orthopedic nurse and then endoscopy nurse until her passing. Pam faithfully attended the South National/East Sunshine Church of Christ and then the Sunset Church of Christ in Springfield, Missouri where she was serving as a Sunday school teacher at the time of her passing.
Pam is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, David, of Springfield, Missouri; son, John David Kail, his wife Kate (Schumann) and grandsons Brett, Brandon, and Brian of Ozark, Missouri; daughter, Jennifer Lynn (Kail) Ames, her husband Andrew, and granddaughters Emily and Allison of Ozark, Missouri; and Pam’s mother Nancy of Springfield, Missouri. Pam was preceded in death by her father, Kern.
Our love for her is endless and will never cease until the day we are all reunited with her again in eternal life with Christ. We know that we will see her again and look forward to that day.
