Obituary for Wilda Mae Jones (Mullings)
Wilda Mae Jones, 88, was born April 4, 1929 to Gaines and Stella (Treon) Mullings near Pleasant Hope, MO. She graduated from Pleasant Hope High School in 1947. She married Clarence (Bud) Jones, Jr in Harrison, AR on February 15, 1947, and to this union two children were born: Marilyn and Marcus. Wilda was a beautician for over 35 years, and and worked for Hallmark at the North Town Mall and at Sams. She was a member of National Heights Baptist Church and loved her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 55 years, brother Ernest Mullings (Geneva and Judy), brother Lee Mullings (Ruth), brother Deward Mullings, a sister Alice Mylene Sutherland, brother-in-law Wallace Jones (Helen), brother-in-law Kyle Jones, father-in-law Clarence Jones and mother-in-law Lennie (Smith) Jones. She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Wilson (Max) of Everton, MO, her son Marcus Jones (Jeanne) of Verona, MO, brother-in-law Norman Sutherland and sister-in-law Peggy Jones, grandchildren: Richard McNeill (Brandi) of Pagosa Springs, CO., Marti Harriss (Brian) of Columbia, IL., Adam Jones of Battleground, WA., Christine Poage (Aaron) of Quincy, IL., Audrey Booher (Jordan) of Springfield, MO, Cassidy Wade of Oronogo, MO, Teresa Knackstedt (Darryl) of Everton, MO and Todd Wilson of Everton, MO, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Missouri Baptist Childrens Home, National Heights Baptist Church Building Fund or the Charity of your choice. Visitation will be Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral service will be Monday, October 23, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pleasant Hope Cemetery.
