Marilyn June McTeer Zerbe, of Kansas City, Missouri, peacefully passed away early Saturday, October 14, 2017 surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren. She was 84. She was born on June 22, 1933 in Willard, Missouri. On October 25, 1952 Marilyn married Paul Zerbe in Springfield, Missouri and together had four children, William, Paula, Jeanie and Debbie. Marilyn will always be remembered by friends and family as an accomplished pianist with a beautiful alto singing voice. She loved nothing more than singing hymns and worshipping her Lord and Savior in heaven. She was a quick wit, never met a stranger and was a fiercely loyal and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband Paul Edwin Zerbe and their daughters Paula Kay Carter, Jean Marie Jones, Deborah Lynn Zerbe and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by their son William Dean Zerbe. Visitation services will be held Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and funeral services on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Moment of Truth Bible Church in Kansas City, Missouri. Grave side services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. noon at Robberson Prairie Cemetery in Willard, Missouri.
