Obituary for Nellie F. Thurman
Nellie F. Thurman, 81, of Fair Grove, MO passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 13, 2017.
Nellie was born March 3, 1936 in Springfield, Mo. She graduated from Springfield High School (Central High School). Though she was a beautician most of her adult life, she retired from SMS (MSU) caferteria.
Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lela McIntosh, her husband Donald and a brother Kenneth McIntosh. She is survived by her daughter Dana and her husband James Jr; grandchildren Kody, Crystal, Corey and Charity; her brother Dennis McIntosh, sisters, Carlene Hunt, Darlene Hammers and Linda Powelson and several nieces, nephews and many other family members.
Services for Nellie will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Friday, September 15, 2016 in the funeral home.
