Obituary for Garry Lee Stevens

Garry Lee Stevens
Garry Lee Stevens left this earth September 5, 2017. Gary was born September 3, 1947 to Madderson and Marjorie Stevens in Globe, AZ. After a career in the U.S. Army, he left as a Sergeant and a Viet Nam Vet. Garry had several businesses while living in CA. Garry loved cars, boats, and especially airplanes. He and his entire family were avid pilots. Later in life, Garry moved to Springfield, MO. where he had a successful house rental business. Garry’s door was always open to everyone. That was one of his greatest gifts. One of his favorite places to go was the Waffle House. He was friends with everyone. Garry is survived by his son Leslie Stevens and his wife Michelle, his life partner, Glenda Tuter, stepson, Paul Tuter and his wife Tina. Also surviving are two grandchildren; Samantha Stevens and Paul Tuter II. There will be a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, September 9, 2017, 3:00-5:00pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to one’s favorite charity.
