Obituary for Daniel Lee Gardner
Daniel “Danny” Lee Gardner departed this life to forever be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 3rd, 2017 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield Missouri. Daniel was born on May 21st, 1955, in Fresno California. He is survived by his parents James and Vera Gardner, his son Kenneth Gardner, his daughter in law Shelly Gardner, his grandson Hunter Gardner, and his sister Deborah Edie.
Daniel was a longtime resident of Walnut Grove, MO. He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior as a child at First Baptist Church in Walnut Grove. He devoted his life to Christian ministry serving in various roles within the church including Pastor of Concord Baptist Church in Walnut Grove for seven years.
Daniel enjoyed fishing and golf, singing in the choir and serving in the church, but there was nothing he enjoyed more than being with his grandson Hunter. All who knew Danny knew the complete joy and happiness that Hunter brought to his life

Daniel will be greatly missed by loved ones and friends but we will rejoice in the blessed hope of being with him again in eternity.
There will be a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, September 7, 2017, 5:00-7:00pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will be private at a later date.
