Obituary for Katie Marie Copening (Dickens)
Katie Copening died on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Republic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Republic, Missouri. She was born on April 13, 1923, the daughter of Earl and Edna Gamble Dickens.
Katie is survived by two daughters, Patsy Jennings of Republic, Missouri and Nancy Recla and husband Gary of Dunnegan, Missouri; 3 grandchildren, Rance Recla, Krystal Actkinson and Amber McVey; 9 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Alvin Dickens; and a grandson, David Jennings II.
Visitation will be on August 29, 2017 at Greenlawn North Funeral Home from 2:00 to 3:00 pm,, with a funeral at Greenlawn North at 3:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
