Jacqueline (Jackie) Williams, age 79, of Springfield, MO, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 18th, 2017.
Jackie was born March 3, 1938 in Missouri to Jack and Geraldine (Jerri) Gawthrop. Jackie graduated from Lamar High School. She was united in marriage to Buddy Lee Williams on July 20, 1957. She graduated from Burge School of Nursing and became a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, spending her career in Springfield, Missouri. Jackie was a devoted wife and loving mother, she was very active with her church, and her faith in Jesus was the driving force in her life. Jackie had a huge heart and was a very active philanthropist, having many charities that were dear to her heart.
Survivors include four children, Kelly Diullo and husband Steven, Tracy Beckham and husband John, Michael Williams and wife Crystal, and Eric Williams and wife Julie; eighteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister; Jeanie Romine; and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Lee Williams; her parents; two sisters, Judy Loveland and Janet Lee.
The family will receive friends, Monday, August 21, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral Services will follow at 4:00 pm, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
