Obituary for James A. Yates
James Yates age 77 , of Nixa passed away Tuesday, August 8th, 2017 .
Jim was born June 13, 1940 in Glidewell, Missouri to Archie and Mae E. Yates. Jim was a graduate of Willard High School. He was a veteran of the Coast Guard. He was united in marriage to Donna Brown on July 31, 1993 in Nixa, MO. Jim had many occupations, but his true love was trucking. Jim enjoyed sky Diving, Go Carting, and spending time with his dogs.
Survivors include his loving wife Donna Yates of the home; three sons, Vern Yates, Tacoma,WA, Rob Madrzykowski, and Republic, Will Christian, Lebanon; eight grandchildren; one brother, Steve Yates, Nixa; and a host of family and friends.
A celebration of Jim's life will be held Thursday, August 10th, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Greenlawn North Funeral Home Springfield, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation Of The Ozarks.
