Obituary for Robert Elza "Bob" Ward

Robert “Bob” Ward, age 87, of Battlefield, MO departed this world on June 14, 2017. Bob was drafted into the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. He worked for Mid-American Dairy retiring in 1992. After retiring, Bob worked 18 years as a part-time driver for Avis Rental Car. Bob enjoyed wood working in his retirement years. Bob and Bessie loved to travel and camp and they were able to visit many states across this nation.
Bob is survived by his wife: Bessie, of the home, his children, Brenda Williams of Branson, Bobby Ward and his wife Lori, Roy Ward and his wife Belinda all of Springfield, 6 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren his brother; Willard Ward and his wife Martha of Indiana and other family and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with the burial following in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
