Obituary for Beverly Louise Jones (Franklin)
Beverly L. Jones was born on November 20, 1927 in Arroyo Grande, CA. She was raised in Big Sur, CA where she met James Broughton. They were married on September 1, 1948. They were blessed with one daughter Portia.
At an early age Beverly was saved and baptized in a river baptism. She proclaimed her love of the Lord and witnessed at every opportunity.
Beverly held positions at various jobs. She felt a calling to work with the mentally ill as a Psychiatric Technician for the State of CA., retiring in 1998 and moving to the coast.
In 2002 she moved to Springfield, MO to be close to her daughter, grandchildren and extended loving family.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Clara and Howard Franklin and husband James Broughton.
She is survived by her daughter Portia Marshall and husband Ron; grandaughter Dawn Braham and grandson Robert Braham. Her extended loving family, Jason Marshall and wife Jessica and 3 children; Jennifer Cowin and husband Kevin and two children and two grandchildren.
