Obituary for Imogene Isaacs (Snowden)

Imogene Isaacs, 91, of Nixa, Missouri went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2017. She had been a lifelong resident of Hollister, Mo, but lived the last six year in Nixa. She was born August 5, 1925 to Joseph and Fannie (Bowman) Snowden at Hollister, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Troy.

Imogene was united in marriage to Cecil Isaacs on October 1, 1942 in Galen, Mo. She is survived by two sons, Everett and his wife Sharon of Nixa, Mo and Ron and his wife Donna of Madisonville, Texas; three grand-daughters Karena Kimmey of Harrison, Arkansas, Rebekah Miller of Madisonville, Texas and Ruth Isaacs of College Station, Texas; two step-grandsons Travis Reasoner of Cedarburg, Wisconsin and Jason Reasoner of Smyrna, Tennessee; and nine great-grandchildren.

Imogene worked for Hagel Manufacturing, Branson Mercantile and Blue Haven Resort as check-in clerk for 32 years. She loved gardening, canning food and tending to her flowers. She made great homemade pies. Her peanut brittle was the best you would ever eat.

Imogene gave her heart to the Lord many years ago and attended Hilltop Church of God when living in Hollister and the Ozark Full Gospel Church when she lived in Nixa.

Visitation will be held on May 30, 2017 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson starting at 10:30 am and a memorial service at 11:30 am. officiated by Dr. Bobby Faucett. Burial will be in the Blue Eye Cemetery at Blue Eye, Mo.
