Obituary for Anna Mary Norenberg (McKeever)
Anna Mary (McKeever ) Norenberg age 82 , of Springfield passed away quietly at her daughters homeFriday, March 10th, 2017 surrounded by her family
Anna was born October 11, 1934 in Morning Sun, Iowa to the late Ralph and Mary McKeever. She was a graduate of Morning Sun High School, where she went to state in basketball.She retired as a department manager at Wal-Mart. She was united in marriage to Lowell (Gus) Norenberg on March 22, 1958 in Iowa City, Iowa, in a Western Auto Store. Anna enjoyed spending time on the beach attending Gulf Shores Mardi Gras, taking walks with her husband at Nathaniel Greene Park, and playing games with her children and grandchildren. Anna's greatest love was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Lowell (Gus) Norenberg; her four children. Mary Johnson and husband Chris, Conway, AR, Bryan Norenberg and wife Janette, Nixa, Carol Johnson and husband Bruce, Springfield, Cheryl Norenberg , Republic; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
A celebration of Anna's life will be, Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 2-4 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home Branson. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Brain Research Center or Alzheimer's Association. The family would like to thank Hospice Compassus for their love , care and support.
