Donald Dean Wood 91, Fair Grove, Mo. passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019, in his home, after a long illness. A Farmer By Trade, Friend By Nature. Born May 15, 1928, lived his whole life in Fair Grove , Mo. his parents were Frank Watson and Ruth Marie "Tracy" Wood. They both preceded him in death, he was also preceded in death by his daughter: Sharon Kay Wood and grandsons: Jeremy Sutherland and Bobby Curtis, one great-grand-daughter: Carly Joyanna Porter, three sisters and their husbands: Patsy (Archie) Rowland, Paula (Kent) Madden, Bonnie (Loran) Rose and two brothers-in-law: Dolan Ray and Wayne Gintz, one nephew: Steven Gintz, and one sister-in-law: Mary Wood.
Donald is survived by his wife: Rena Wood, of the home, daughters: Karen (Steve) Sutherland, Carolyn Wood, Theresa (Blaine) Banfield, Retha (Bob) Curtis and Donna (Dave) Wanamaker, one son: Larry Wood, one brother: Robert Wood, two sisters: Maude Anne Gintz and Mary Zane Ray, 19-grandchildren, 16-great grandchildren, three step-sons: Mark Mingus, Mike (Pattie) Mingus, and Marty Mingus, and one step-daughter: Missi (Harold) Boston
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, burial will follow, in Cedar Bluff Cemetery, near Fair Grove, Mo. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
