Obituary for Beverly Ann Tatum (Ash)

Beverly Ann Tatum, 82, of Springfield, MO, peacefully went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in her home where she lived with her daughter, Tamara, her sister-in-law, Kathryn Presley and her great-grandchildren, Landon and Kylee Brazeal. She was born on September 29, 1936 in Springfield, MO.
She graduated from Senior High School (Central) in 1954. She was united in marriage to Richard W. Tatum, Sr on April 14, 1955. She retired from Cox Hospital in 2009.
She is survived by her three daughters; Mitzi Jones and husband, Verl; Tamara Tatum; and Lisa Hall; many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; her sister, Bonnie Bearden; her niece, Amy McClelland and husband, Eric Peterson; two sisters-in-law, Kathryn Presley and Sarah Dameron; and a multitude of other family and friends; and her very spoiled dog, Sunny, who was her sunshine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Willie (Denton) Ash; her son, Rick Tatum; her son-in-law, Rick Hall; and her brother-in-law, Harvey Bearden.
Visitation is from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, January 20, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Graveside services will be held Monday, January 21, at 1:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Rick Cochran officiating.
She is truly and deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Her life was a blessing to all who knew her, and in her death she leaves a beautiful legacy of family.
