Paul Godwin Cummings 87, Springfield, MO passed away January 16, 2019 in Mercy Hospital. Paul was born in Savannah, Georgia, June 10, 1931 to Godwin and Cleo (Durkovich) Cummings. He was a retired Chief Warrant Officer, in the United States Army. He was a member of Central Assembly of God Church for 45 years. Paul loved raising dogs and was a professional dog breeder of Miniature Schnauzers, Toy Poodles, and English Mastiffs.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Eugene; and a brother-in-law: Raymond Gandy. On February 24, 1966 Paul was united in marriage to Marianne Deuschle. She survives him, along with their children: Michael N. Cummings and his wife Bonnie; Monika Feeney and her husband Bob; Angela Nibbelink and her husband Steve; Mathew D. Cummings and his wife Adela; Andrew E. Cummings and his wife Jade and David N. Cummings and his wife Kathryn. He was blessed with twenty grandchildren: Michael-Paul, Brittany, Kyle, Katie, Kolton, Alex, Ryan, Hannah, Thomas, Wesley, Chris, Garit, Jenet, Miracle-Joy, Zeke, Anya, Ethan, Joshua, Abigail, and Elizabeth, one great-grandchild: Jadzia. He has a surviving sister: Beth Gandy; and a sister-in-law: Sheila Cummings.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Central Assembly of God Church. Viewing will be at 11am with services beginning at 12:00 noon. Burial to follow, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
