Obituary for Betty Wanda Wolfe (Putney)

Betty Wanda Wolfe 75, Strafford, Missouri passed away Tuesday evening in her home after a long illness. She was born March 12, 1943 in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Clyde and Sibyle (Barley) Putney. She was a retired cook and baker for MSU and had worked for Strafford Schools and the Heritage Cafeteria. Betty loved Elvis, spending time with her grandkids, Lemon Pies, Lemon Chicken, her dogs and watching T.V.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jerry Norman Wolfe.
She is survived by her daughter; Judy Hogan, her son; Danny Wolfe, five grandchildren; Chris, Tommy, Samantha, Destiny, and Will and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters; Sonja Ball, Yvonne Scrivner, Mona Martin, and Nancy, three brothers; Everett Putney, Jimmy Putney, and Bobby Putney.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, 3540 E. Seminole, Springfield, Missouri with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
