Funeral services for Melvin E. Jones, Jr. age 75 of Branson, Missouri will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Greenlawn Funeral Home with Dr. Bobby Fausett officiating. Burial will follow in the Eisenhour Cemetery near Reeds Spring, Missouri.

He passed away on November 15, 2018 at Cox Medical Center in Branson.

Melvin was born on November 2, 1943 in Springfield, Missouri the son of Melvin E. Jones Sr and Mary E. Maples. He was a longtime resident of the area and was a retired carpenter by trade. He was of the protestant faith.

Survivors are his wife; Linda Snider Jones of the home in Branson. Four children; Tony Jones (Linda) of Florida, Tammy Easley of Missouri, Sandie Jones of Springfield, Missouri and Terry Jones (Jenifer) of Republic, Missouri. Two brothers; Doug Jones of Kansas City, Missouri and Tim Jones of Ozark, Missouri. Three sisters; Susie Barnes (Rodney) of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Sandy Burks (Gary) of Aurora, Missouri and Sally Foulk (Eddie) of Marionville, Missouri and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
