Orpha Jean (Trammell) Shelton, 89, Springfield, Mo. departed this life to be with her Heavenly Savior, on November 15, 2018.She was born on August 12, 1929, in Springfield, Mo. to Edward and Virgie (Speakes) Trammell. She was the last surviving child of four children. Jean graduated from Springfield High School. She loved singing in the choir and her favorite hobby was reading.
On January 29, 1954, Jean married Henry "Smokey" Shelton Jr.,to this union three children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 47 years, and by her three siblings. She leaves behind her daughter Cindy (Kenny) and two sons Terry (Marsha), Tim, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
