Daniel Arron (Dan) Buttram 85, Springfield, Mo. passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018, in his home. He was born on August 11, 1932, in Geary, Oklahoma, to John and Hester A. (Rogers) Buttram. He was a retired auto mechanic. He was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly Of God Church, he loved playing his guitar and singing music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Betty, a sister, Doris Miller, two brothers :Alva (AB) Buttram and Mervin Buttram. Survivors include: his wife Sharon Buttram, two daughters: Beverly Jean Claussen, state of California, and Kathryn D. Zlab, and her husband Victor, of the state of Nebraska, a son: Timothy A. Buttram and his wife Darla, of Springfield, Mo. five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren and a brother, James Gordon Buttram and his wife, Velma, Rogers, Arkansas.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, burial will follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
