Obituary for Rebecca Jo Fullerton (Shanks)
Rebecca Jo Fullerton (Known as Becky or Grammy) passed away on July 13th at 73, unexpected to her family and friends. She was married to William L. Fullerton for 47 years. She was born to Laddie W. Shanks and Mary Ellen Shanks (Vogt) in Springfield Missouri on July 26th 1945. She enjoyed watching Westerns, especially John Wayne. She loved to watch the Lonesome Dove movies, all of them. She loved watching Dirty Dancing as well. She also loved to take care of her dogs and play slotomania. She was a loving mother and a wonderful friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son David Wayne, her sisters Ellen and Sandy, her brother David. Her nephews Travis, Cole and her son in law, Ron. She is survived by her husband, her children Diana Fullerton (Mike), Darren Fullerton (Lori), and Dawnella Bennett. Her sisters, Bobbi, Carmen, Terri, Scotti and their families. Her brothers, Bennett, Pat, Mike, Jimmy and their families. Her grandchildren, Jeremy, Blake, Brittany, Abby(Tim), Evan, and Cydney. A great grandson, Terrence. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also, her babies, Sophie, Buddy and Meredith.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
