Obituary for Muriel Audrey Stadler

Muriel Stadler passed away at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo. on May 15. Born on March 4, 1929 in St. Louis to Henry and Alvina Johnson (Brockman), she graduated from Ritenour High School. She married Norman E. Mueller in 1949. He preceded her in death. She married Roger L. Stadler in 1991, who also preceded her in death. Survived by son, Larry Mueller (Jayne) of Peoria Ill., daughter Debbie Pruett (David) of Springfield, Mo., grandsons Dustin and Dylan Pruett, and by Roger's sons Steve and Kevin, and daughter Lynn and their families. She was an Aunt and looked forward to being a great grandmother.
She worked as a homemaker, and at Dillards and Silver Dollar City. She volunteered at Christian Hospital, and in family churches, schools, and organizations. She was proud of the support she and Roger provided to St. Andrews in Kimberling City. She last attended Aldersgate Methodist Church in Nixa.
She had great friends from neighborhoods, churches, and extended families. Family was first, taking care of and supporting others and enjoying gatherings. She also enjoyed Clearwater Fla. vacations, the Branson Area, the St. Louis Cardinals, and Pruett's dog, Biggs.
Donations to Aldersgate Methodist Church in Nixa, Mo., or the charity of the donor's choice. Memorial service will be at Aldersgate at 11 AM on May 18, with a 10 AM visitation at the church. Burial will be in St Louis at St. Johns Cemetery on St. Cyr Rd at 11 AM on May 22. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
