Obituary for Larry Curren Melton
A Celebration of Life Visitation for Larry C. Melton, age 74 of Branson, MO will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, May 18, 2018 at Greenlawn Funeral Home Branson. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home Branson.
He died on Friday, May 11, 2018 at his home.
He was born on May 17, 1943 in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Richard H. Melton, Jr. and Ruth Snider Melton. He was a retired supervisor for the water treatment plant with the city of Branson. He had been a resident of the area for the past 50 years.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Tommie Melton of Branson, MO., his two children: Timothy Melton of York, PA., Pam Askren and husband, Raymond of Branson, MO., his five siblings: Kenny Melton and wife Wendy of California, Beverly J. Heilman and husband Larry of Ohio, Diana Heckler and husband Bill of Republic, MO., Debbie Clemenson and husband Jon of Branson, MO., and Richard H. Melton III and wife Tammy of St. Louis, MO., five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
