Obituary for Louise R Crosthwaite

Louise R. Crosthwaite, passed away on May 9, 2018 at the age of 93. Louise (Lou) was born in Glebe, West Virginia on September 19, 1924. Lou was preceded in death by her parents, George H. and Virginia Evans. Lou has a step-son, Murray L. Flinn and wife Marilyn living in Topeka, Kansas and a step-daughter Nancy Kay Mangen and husband Richard Mangen, living in Centennial, Colorado. Lou worked for Wadell and Reed in Kansas City, Missouri and retired at the age of 70 after many successful years with the firm. She moved to Springfield in 2000. She was an avid bowler and active member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Lou is remembered as a loving and caring person. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Services will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church at 922 W. Republic Road on May 15, 2018 at 10:00 am. There will be refreshments served after the service for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wesley United Methodist Church. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
