Lorene Hope Cox 97, Rogersville, MO. passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018. She was born in Morriston, Arkansas on March 17, 1921, to Luther Homer and Stella Ruth (Whitcomb) McCullough. She was a retired production line inspector for the Zenith Corporation. She was a 18 year member of the Rogersville, MO. Church of Christ. When she lived in Springfield, she attended the East Grand Church of Christ for many years. In her spare time, Lorene enjoyed oil painting and gardening.
Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Edward Cox, her son: Terry Douglas Cox, and her brother, John R. McCullough. She is survived by her daughter, Billie Gray and her husband Richard, and her son: Larry Cox and his wife, Pat, 10 grandchildren, 15-great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Springfield National Cemetery. No visitation is planned.
