Obituary for A. Margaret Bussell
Margaret Bussell, 91, of Springfield, MO passed away May 4, 2018 in her home.
Margaret was born July 22, 1926 in Neosho, MO to W.W. and Mary Stevens. On August 27, 1948 Margaret married Leland C. Bussell. The two of them graduated from the University of Missouri in 1949. She went on to get her teaching degree.
Margaret was a very accomplished artist and taught art to others. She loved ceramics and up until her later years was very active in her church.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister. She was also preceded in death by her son Mark Stevens Bussell in 2006.
Margaret is survived by her husband Leland, three daughters, Dianne Bussell McCormick, M. Karen Bussell and Janet L. Bussell. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Patrick McCormick, Kelly McCormick and Quinten Johnson.
A memorial service for Margaret will be at 2:00 pm Friday May 11, 2018 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with a visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
The family has ask that contributions be made to St. Jude’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or JDRF, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor New York, NY 10004.
