Obituary for Wendall Lee Towe

Wendall Lee  Towe
Wendall Lee Towe, 73, of Fremont Hills, MO passed away from this life on April 28, 2018.
He was born December 26, 1944 in Denver, CO.
He was preceded in death by his father Arvil Herbert Towe, his mother Ermina Ailana (Wade) Jenkins, a brother Hertbert Dale Towe and a son Gregory Allen Towe.
Wendall attended School in Cabool, MO and graduated from Marshall High School, after which he attended SMSU in Springfield. He then joined the Army and spent time in Vietnam. Upon his return to Springfield, he worked with his brother Wayne at Butler and Associates. This started his 37 year career in the construction field. He lived in Denver, CO, Tacoma, WA and Napa, CA.
In his retirement, Wendall and Alice moved to Fremont Hills, MO where they could travel, fish and join the Fremont Hills Country Club and play golf.
Wendall is survived by his wife of 32 years Alice Miller Towe, his daughter Melinda (Matt) Davis and three grandchildren, Chad, Ashley and Austin Pace; daughter-in-law Judy Towe and three grandchildren, Jeffrey (Chelsey) Squibb, Kylee and Jillian Towe and one great grandchild Stella Jane Squibb. He is also survived by his brother Wayne (Donna) Towe and numerous other relatives.
A Memorial Service for Wendall will be at 6:00 pm Monday, June 11, 2018 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Interment will be at a later date in Springfield National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The American Heart Association.
