Obituary for Kenneth Joseph Grass
Kenneth Grass of Springfield, MO. left this world on Aprin 21, 2018 after a long illness. He is the son of Fred W. Grass Jr. and Rosemary Grass of St. Louis, Mo. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Fred Grass, brother, Tommy Grass, and a niece, Danielle White.
He is survived by his wife, Reba Grass of the home, daughter, Kenda Clopton (Marty), Springfield, two sons; Aaron Tummons (Jamie) of Springfield, Leslie Tummons (Kari) Of Honolulu, Hawaii, mother; Rosemary Grass of St. Louis, brother; Fred W. Grass III (Amy), two sisters; Virginia Kienstra (Donna) and Judy Williamson (David) all of St. Louis, MO, grandchildren; Myles Clopton, Mason Clopton, Montgomery Clopton, Lily Sanders, Aaron James Tummons and Joseph Ray Tummons. Ken is also survived by a special niece that was like a daughter to him, Brooke Battenfield, and considered her children as his grandkids: Taylor, Madison, and Caleb Battenfield, and many nieces and nephews which are too numerous to mention.
Ken spent his life since college in and around the Springfield, MO. area, other than a few years living at the Lake of the Ozarks with his wife, Reba, after retiring. They moved back to Springfield almost two years ago.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 26, 2018, 6:00-8:00pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral service will be Friday, April 27, 2018, 1:00pm, also at Greenlawn North. Burial will be at a later date.
