Pearl Kelley (Cravens ) Evans, age 87, of Kansas City passed away Monday, April 16th, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital .
Pearl was born September 27, 1930 in Metzville, Mo, to Landrey and Ruth Cravens. Pearl graduated from Springfield Central High School. She was united in marriage to Burl Evans on November 12, 1950 in Springfield, MO. Pearl worked as a clerk at Osco Drug for twenty-six years. She enjoyed reading, photography, crocheting, playing bingo, and going to the casino. She took great pride in her title of wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Survivors include seven children, Patricia Krikorian, Kansas City, Richard Evans Sr. and wife Susan, Bastrop, TX, Mari Hohl and husband Robert, Wichita, Ks, Phyllis Parks and husband Mike, Liberty, Mo, Shirley McCelland and husband Robert, Independence, Mo, Victor Evans, Independence, and Diane, Wiggins and husband Jason, Independence; twenty-two grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one sister, Dot Tomczyk and husband Ed, of the state of New York; and a host of family and friends. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Burl Evans; two children, Preston Evans and Barbara Loveland; two grandchildren, Brandy and Zachery; her parents, Landrey and Ruth Cravens; one brother, Richard Cravens; one sister Jewell DuPont.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm, Friday, April 20, 2018 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 20th, 2018 at 3:30 pm in White Chapel Memorial Gardens EE Highway Springfield, Missouri 65803.
