Marjorie passed from this life to a better life and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 8th, 2018. She was born on March 24th, 1924 in Montague County, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband John Loftin in 1991. She remarried after his passing and was also preceded in death by her second husband, Jay Gresham who passed away in 2010. She is also preceded in death by sisters Nellie Norvell (Bill), Nona Brown (Rowe), Doris Rodgers (Virgil), and brothers C.A. Roberson, Ray Roberson, Kenneth (Dorothy), Bill Roberson and Bob Roberson.
She is survived by sons, John Loftin and wife Karen of Springfield, MO and Tim Loftin and wife Buffy of Wichita, KS. Grandchildren: Tori and Olvin Elvir of St. Petersburg, FL, Lauren and Jason Nill of Springfield, Sally and Abe Manlove of Jacksonville, FL, Landon and Kate Loftin of Bolivar, MO, and Brittany and Patrick McVey of Ames, Iowa. She was also blessed with 5 great-grandchildren. Marjorie also has one surviving brother, Gary and wife Dot of Arlington, TX, and sisters-in-laws: Delano Roberson, Marjorie Roberson, Joan Roberson and Lois Roberson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was a faithful and loving wife, mother and friend to many. She was a homemaker and a part-time beautician. She was known for her selflessness toward others and for having a great number of friends who enjoyed her company. She loved to travel and enjoyed taking their trailer to state parks and camp with friends. She was a founding member of the Brookline Church of Christ in Brookline, MO. She was also a long-time member of the Faith Village Church of Christ in Wichita Falls, TX.

A memorial service will be held at Greenlawn South Funeral Home in Springfield, MO on Thursday, April 12th at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to EightOaks or to Fairhaven Children’s Home in Stafford, MO.
